The Western Hemisphere is a diverse and incredible region; its beauty is fragile against the reality of climate change. Innovators from across the region work hard to reduce carbon emissions, create new green technologies, and launch solutions for humans, wildlife, and ecosystems to adapt to a changing climate.
The United States remains committed to working hand in hand with partner countries in the Western Hemisphere to create a sustainable and greener future for the next generation. We also believe in the power of art to inspire and motivate. The U.S. Department of State invites you to capture, through your lens, the impact of climate change throughout the region or the efforts being made to mitigate it.
The YLAI Goes Green: Through Our Lens Exhibition invites photographers in Latin America and the Caribbean to capture climate change and climate action throughout the region. We are open to ideas, styles, genres, and perspectives on craftsmanship and photographic creativity.
Individuals living in Latin America, the Caribbean, and Canada are welcome to submit up to two images, complying with the exhibition rules and requirements.
