Location:  Colima, Jalisco, Michoacan, Nayarit, and Sinaloa, Mexico

Event: The National Hurricane Center (NHC) forecasts that Hurricane Roslyn will be at or near major hurricane strength when it passes near and makes landfall along the west-central coast of Mexico on the evening of Saturday, October 22 and Sunday, October 23.  U.S. citizens in states along the coast of west-central Mexico and the Islas Marias, including popular tourist areas of Puerto Vallarta, the Riviera Nayarit, and Mazatlan should monitor the progress of Roslyn, follow the instructions of local authorities, and be prepared to seek shelter.
