U.S. Consulate General in Monterrey announces ten awardees of community small grants

The U.S. Consulate General in Monterrey, is pleased to announce the awardees of community small grants. This special competition, launched in January 2016, sought proposals for projects that address environmental challenges, broaden human rights, engage at-risk youth, expand economic opportunity for women or underserved communities, encourage innovation, science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education, and strengthen democracy, civil society, good governance and justice.

The objective of this call is to address specific community needs and support shared priorities and values between the United States and Mexico. After a competitive evaluation process of over 150 proposals received, the evaluation committee has selected the following projects.
