U.S. and Mexico build common front against heroin

During the Bilateral Seminar on Heroin, held in Mexico City, experts from both countries exchanged best practices to perfect strategies to fight against heroin trafficking, strengthening defense mechanisms and protecting our borders.

They also analyzed data on criminal organizations from both countries who produce, synthetize and distribute heroin to and within the United States.

Assistant Attorney General Benitez and Chief Tomas Zeron; the regional director of the DEA Paul Craine; Deputy Chief of Mission Laura Dogu; Director of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Steven Kraft; and Mexico’s Chief of the National Center for Planning, Analysis and Information to Combat Crime Vidal Diazleal Ochoa participated in the inauguration.
