U.S. Ambassador Anthony Wayne travelled to Monterrey to participate in the Mexico-U.S. Entrepreneurship and Innovation Council’s (MUSEIC) third meeting alongside Undersecretary for North America, Sergio Alcocer Martinez de Castro and Enrique Jacob Rocha, President of Mexico’s National Entrepreneurship Institute (INADEM).
Established in May 2013, MUSEIC is one of the key initiatives strengthening the linkages between the U.S. and Mexico entrepreneurial ecosystems. MUSEIC is a component of the High-Level Economic Dialogue (HLED) serving as a bilateral platform to increase U.S.-Mexico economic competitiveness in both countries.
The focus of MUSEIC’s third council meeting is on empowering entrepreneurs on both sides of the border. With the inauguration of MUSEIC, Mexico also became the first Latin American country to join the Global Entrepreneurship Program with the U.S. State Department.
