Security Alert — U.S. Consulate General Ciudad Juarez

Event:  Police are on the scene following a shooting earlier this afternoon, February 1, at Las Misiones Mall.  U.S. citizens should continue to avoid the area until police conclude their investigations and the mall is re-opened.

Actions to Take:

• Avoid the Las Misiones Mall until police deem the area to be safe.
• Monitor local media for updates.
• Notify friends and family of your safety.
