Event: The state of Colima is experiencing increased violence among criminal organizations, particularly in Colima City and the surrounding urban areas. Shooting incidents between criminal groups have occurred in public places where bystanders have been injured or killed. The Department of State’s Travel Advisory for the state of Colima is Level 4 – Do Not Travel due to crime and kidnapping.
