It is important to know that effective Monday, December 19, the Mexico City Non-Immigrant Visa (NIV) Pavilion will no longer provide temporary storage of personal items for visa applicants. Visa applicants will not be permitted to enter the NIV pavilion with any of the following items: Cellphones, CDs, USBs, SD Cards, Flashlights, Lighters, Weapons, Liquids, Food, Knives, or Bags bigger than 45 x 45 cm. Please do NOT bring these items to the Embassy on the day of you visa appointment as there will not be a storage area for these items. The NIV unit will not assume responsibility for any items stored with local businesses that may offer temporary storage services.
