Offer of Assistance from the Government of Mexico regarding Hurricane Harvey

We are grateful for the government of Mexico’s offer of assistance to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey. We responded to the government of Mexico through diplomatic channels and connected Mexican authorities with the appropriate contacts at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). FEMA will continue to work with its state, local, and tribal partners to fill any requests for assistance with all available assets.

The people of the United States and Mexico share a proud history of helping one another in difficult times. We thank the people of Mexico—our friends and neighbors—for their generous expressions of good will and support.
