To All Sales Representatives/Vendors/Contractors in Mexico City and its Consular District.

Small, medium and large companies: for those of you who are responsible offerors, with permits and licenses to do business in Mexico and interested in offering your services, supplies and/or goods/items to the U.S. Embassy in Mexico, please submit your DUNS number (see Requirements), name, title, company name, complete address, telephone number, cell phone number, email address and a brief description of the services, supplies and/or goods/items your company is offering.  Also, if available, please provide a link to your company’s website.

Send this information to the email address indicated on the advertisements, pointing out which type of product or service your company would like to offer.

Requirements:

Interested companies must obtain a “Contractor Identification Number” and register in the “Data Universal Numbering System” (DUNS) at their website.  SAM registration (System for Award Management website) is required for all actions in excess of $25,000 for local firms and $3,500 for US firms prior to award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7.

  • Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. 19MX53-23-Q-0012
    • The Embassy has a requirement for a professional construction contractor to provide maintenance and repair services in Mexico City.  This construction effort is to restore restrooms in a Government Owned (GO) Residence located in Mexico City, with an estimated value less than $25,000 U.S. dollars, per FAR 36.204 (a). All construction contractors that respond to the solicitation must be technically qualified and financially responsible to perform the work.  At a minimum, each offeror must meet the following requirements when submitting their proposal:
      • Be able to understand written and spoken English;
      • Have an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing;
      • Have the necessary personnel, equipment and financial resources available to perform the work;
      • Have all licenses and permits required by local law;
      • Meet all local insurance requirements;
      • Have the ability to obtain a performance and guarantee bond and a payment bond, or to post adequate performance security, such as irrevocable letters of credit or guarantees issued by a reputable financial institution;
      • Have no adverse criminal record;
      • Have no political or business affiliation which could be considered contrary to the interests of the United States;
      • Have good experience and past performance records; and,
      • Identify specialized experience and technical competence required to complete the construction work in accordance with this solicitation.

    • The U.S. Embassy in Mexico City is looking for vendors that can provide conference rooms & A/V equipment rental, and lodging in Mexico City, as per the technical specifications included in the Request for Quotation (RFQ).   • The U.S. Embassy Mexico City has a requirement for a construction contractor to provide maintenance and repair services in Mexico City.  This construction effort is to remove the existing gas tanks and replace them with new gas tanks with an estimated value between $25,000 and $100,000 U.S. dollars, per FAR 36.204 (b).  This work requires the services of a professional contractor to supply and install gas tanks as part of a residential renovation. All construction contractors that respond to the solicitation must be technically qualified and financially responsible to perform the work.  At a minimum, each offeror must meet the following requirements when submitting their proposal:
    • Be able to understand written and spoken English;
    • Have an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing;
    • Have the necessary personnel, equipment and financial resources available to perform the work;
