  • U.S. citizens seeking to depart Acapulco should consider bus options to Mexico City or Zihuatanejo:
  • Costa Line has service from Terminal Acapulco Papagayo and Terminal Punta Diamante to Mexico City.
  • Estrella de Oro has service from Terminal Acapulco Costera to Mexico City and to Zihuatanejo.
  • Futura has service from Terminal Papagayo and Terminal Ejido to Zihuantanejo.

Actions to Take:

  • Monitor local media for updates, follow directions from local officials, and in case of emergency, call 911.
  • Keep loved ones advised of your location and well-being via phone, text, and social media.
