Jovenes en Accion 2014 Generation

Your success is the success of your family, your community and our region,” stated Ambassador Anthony Wayne upon congratulating the 101 participants of the 2014-2015 generation that finished their projects and presented the results in the presence of US Ambassador Anthony Wayne, the Under Secretary for Middle School Education, Rodolfo Tuirán, Undersecretary for North America, Sergio Alcocer, and esteemed private sector representatives who contributed to this leadership program. Each year we are proud to see the enthusiasm that the participants of this program have to improve the environment and reduce social problems that impair their communities by taking actions that demonstrate their leadership skills and maturity, benefiting the understanding between our two countries. This program reflects the combined efforts of the 100,000 Strong in the Americas Initiative that both governments have made to increase educational cooperation and student mobility. We want to highlight the invaluable support from companies like Asociación de Bancos de México, BBVA Bancomer, CISCO, Microsoft, Grupo Alfa, Fomento Educacional, Funcación Tel Mex.  Without them, this program would not have the continuity and strength it exemplifies.
