To inquire about a specific visa case or U.S. Citizen Service case, complete the form below. The Consulate will respond within 20 to 30 business days. Please do not submit your inquiry more than once. If you are inquiring about more than one case, please submit one form per case.

Do not use this form to request general information, which can be obtained by browsing our website or visiting the Official Visa Information and Appointment system for the Embassy of the United States in Mexico or calling 703 439 2313 if calling from the United States. All visa appointment-related inquiries should be directed to the Visa Information and Appointment system as well.

Please note that we cannot respond to inquiries in reference to USCIS matters, including the status of I-601 and/or I-212 waivers.  For more information on the waiver process and eligibility, please visit the USCIS website at www.uscis.gov.

UNAUTHORIZED INQUIRERS:  Section 222(f) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) prohibits us from providing details of a visa case to persons who are not the petitioners, beneficiaries or authorized agent. The applicant(s)/petitioner/designated agent should contact the Embassy directly regarding the case(s). If you are an attorney, please use our inquiry form for attorneys.

For K (fiancé) visas, please use the form for immigrant visas. Be sure to provide a Ciudad Juárez case number beginning with CDJ, followed by a year, followed by six digits.
