Embassy Consular Officials visit Veracruz to Share Information about Visas

Veracruz, April 25th – 28th, 2017 – In an open press conference, consular officials of the United States Embassy in Mexico City presented information on visas and passports, fraud prevention, and services for U.S. citizens residing in Mexico. The conference took place in the Mexico – U.S. Binational Center located at Azueta 1229, Centro, Veracruz.

During their visit, they also met with government officials and businessmen to discuss a variety of topics such as: economic, security and political trends in Veracruz; health services; U.S. visa procedures and anti-fraud initiatives regarding visa applications; educational opportunities in the United States; and the “Documéntate” (“Get Documented”) initiative to ensure that U.S. – born children of Mexican parents who are residing in Mexico are properly documented as U.S. citizens.
