Amb. Anthony Wayne and Dan Ashe, Director of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service participated in a ceremony to commemorate the 20th Anniversary Celebration of Wildlife Without Borders – Mexico and also celebrated the transfer of two female California Condors to the Chapultepec Zoo. The Wildlife Without Borders Mexico program has been working since 1995 to conserve our shared natural wealth. The program provides small grants by partnering with Mexican universities, research centers, non-governmental organizations, private industries, local communities and indigenous people. In 2014, the program funded 18 projects with $686,813 total funds distributed through grants.
