Attention: U.S. Embassies and Consulates are currently experiencing technical difficulties

U.S. Embassies and Consulates are currently experiencing technical difficulties that may result in delays in visa processing and receiving and sending communications. If you sent an email to a U.S. Embassy or Consulate email address between 8pm Friday, Nov 14th and 8am Tuesday, Nov 18th, we did not receive your message. If you do not receive a response within 72 hours, please resend your email.

Additionally, applicants who have interviews for student and exchange visitors (F/M/J) visas scheduled for this week should bring proof of payment of the SEVIS fee.

U.S. citizens may also experience delays in sending and receiving emails. U.S. citizens requiring emergency assistance should contact the Consulate in Hermosillo at 662-289-3500 (011-52-662-289-3500 if dialing from the United States) or the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City at 55-5080-2000 (dialing from within Mexico City, or 011-52-555-080-2000 dialing from the United States), state your emergency to the operator, and ask for the American Citizen Services Unit. If you sent an email to a U.S. Embassy or Consulate email address between 8pm on Friday, Nov 14th and 8am Tuesday, Nov 18th, we may not have received your message. Please resend your email.
