Mexico City, March 15, 2017 – U.S. Ambassador Roberta Jacobson visited various locations in the state of Morelos, and met with Governor Graco Ramiez to discuss renewable energy and economic development. This visit is part of her goal of getting to know Mexico first hand. During the day she visited the Robert Brady Museum, the Institute of Electricity and Clean Energy, had lunch with the Governor at the Jardines de Mexico resort, and visited the Xochicalco archeological site.
Ambassador Jacobson said: “I just loved Cuernavaca, aptly known as the city of eternal spring. I have never experienced such splendor and warmth the second week of March. It’s a reminder of the natural resources of North America, and of the efforts we must undertake to conserve them. With that in mind, my visit to the National Institute of Clean Energy was also crucial and impressive.”
